Artists Porpentine Charity Heartscape, Neotenomie, and Rook summoned a dimensional portal to a xenoplastic ecosystem. The three artists are known for their experimental multimedia collaborations, and have been commissioned by Rhizome and exhibited in the 2017 Whitney Biennial. The Gray Area event featured a newly commissioned piece by Heartscape, Neotenomie, and Rook, irradiating Gray Area with mutant infrastructures alien and familiar.
